We Were Mistreated At
Family Baptist Church In Pensacola

       I had attended the FAMILY BAPTIST CHURCH in Pensacola since October of 2021. It didn't take me long to figure out that I was in something other than a church, because their pastor preaches another Gospel in my humble opinion (2nd Corinthians 11:3-4). The church's official Statement of Faith, which I have a physical copy of in front of me, says that to get to Heaven you must: “Repent of your sins.” This phrase appears nowhere in the inspired KING JAMES BIBLE, yet wicked pastors and preachers continue to use it, bringing God's wrath upon themselves for perverting God's simple plan of salvation (Galatians 1:6-7).

Galatians 1:6-8, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”

The Greek Bible word for the noun “repent” is metanoia, which means: “a change of mind,” not a change of behavior. It doesn't mean to have a profound feeling of hatred or disgust for your sinful ways. It does not mean to hate your sins so much that you are willing to forsake them! This is the garbage that the accursed cult at Pensacola Christian College (PCC) teach to their students, and it is the same accursed lie that Pastor Brad Moffett and his annoying father preach.

On June 22, 2025, when me and my wife pulled into the church's parking lot, we were horribly told that we are no longer permitted to attend their church. The henpecked pastor and his wife (who insists on wearing her pants in public), got angry at my comments on social media. Although I had never mentioned any of their names nor their church in my remarks, they were still offended because they knew that I was talking about them. I stand 100% behind all of my truthful comments. None of this would have happened had Brad just minded his own business. I'm sure that he has better things to do.

The issue was over Pastor Brad falsely slandering Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) to us on April 30th, 2025, when me and my wife met with him in his office at church. Pastor Brad is very wrong in our humble opinion to speak evil of Dr. Jack Hyles. Proverbs 10:18, “He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.” I gratefully attended Hyles-Anderson College (HAC) between 1985 to 1993, when I graduated. Pastor Hyles started HAC in 1972 to do all that he could to save America. I am so thankful to have had the rare opportunity and privilege to attend Dr. Hyle's excellent Bible college, without which my website ministry wouldn't exist, and thousands of lost sinners would not have been turned to God's imputed righteousness, which is by faith alone in Jesus Christ (John 20:31). In fact, I was saved under the preaching of a Hyles-Anderson graduate. So, I even owe my blessed gift of salvation to Brother Hyles. My wife Alice was saved in 1975 while riding on one of their church buses in Chicago from the First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana.

Sadly, Pastor Brad is a new evangelical. Brad told me in April that he is not a fundamentalist. Yeah, no kidding, get right with God! A fundamentalist is a born again Christian who lives by the inspired King James Bible. Brad denies that we have a perfect, inspired, Holy Bible today. He is not King James Bible only, even though that is all that their church uses. Fundamentalists take the Holy Bible literally! A fundamentalist lives a separated life from the heathen world, refusing to follow the world's low moral standards. A fundamentalist woman does NOT wear pants in public. In our humble opinion, it is shameful that Pastor Brad's wife wears pants in public at times. She should be raising the standard high for the other women and girls in the church, not following the low standards of the heathen world. We have every right to our own opinion in this matter. Modesty matters! Ladies should conceal, not reveal. Psalms 118:6, “The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?”

Woe unto any pastor who promotes infidel Ken Ham and his Satanic Answers-In-Genesis, who preach the Devil's accursed damnable lie of Lordship Salvation. RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS! I am so sick and tired of ungodly churches perverting God's simple plan of salvation. Woe unto the Family Baptist Church for preaching another gospel. Nowhere does the inspired King James Bible require anyone to turn away from their sins, or to repent of your sins, to be saved. All you need to do to get to Heaven dear reader, is to come to God by faith as a needy sinner and receive Christ's sacrificial death on the cross as full payment for your sins, believing that He was buried, but then physically resurrected from the dead three days later. This is “THE GOSPEL” according to 1st Corinthians 15:1-6. What Family Baptist Church is teaching is of the Devil. NO ONE has ever turned away from his or her sins! Christ came into the world to die for our sins on a cross, to save us from the penalty of our sins (which is to spend eternity burning in the Lake of Fire). Thank God for the cross and the precious blood of Jesus!!!

Pastor Brad Moffett told me and Alice in April of 2025 that he couldn't care less about exposing corrupt Bible revisions. Shame on Brad! He refuses to dress like a pastor, wearing jeans and a blue shirt with polka dots to speak from the pulpit. Unsaved heathen lawyers, politicians and businessmen dress much better than the pastor of Family Baptist Church does! Ichabod (the glory of the Lord has departed) is written over the doors of Family Baptist Church. Me and Alice sincerely feel that when churches kick people out, they are behaving more like the cults than New Testament churches.

I humbly believe that no one should ever be told they are no longer welcome at a local church. Me and Alice were kind to everyone, loving toward those around us where we sat in church, and we never disrupted a church service. For the pastors of Family Baptist Church to kick us out over some comments that I made on Facebook, in which I didn't mention any names, is so horrible. To us that is like something you'd hear about from communist Russia, North Korea or China. People have a right to express their views without fear of being persecuted for it.

Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) is my hero of the faith, my spiritual mentor. Who is Brad Moffett to say terrible things about Dr. Hyles? Pastor Brad disagrees with Pastor Hyles and me for preaching against women wearing pants in public. Brad criticized Dr. Hyles on April 30th, 2025, falsely accusing Brother Hyles of having a carnal mind because he had heard Pastor Hyles say in a sermon: “I don't have a dirty mind, I have a man's mind.” Brad accused Dr. Hyles of being carnally minded and said that he himself can look at a woman wearing pants without being tempted to lust. Well, kindly said then, Brad is either a homosexual or he needs to go visit a doctor, because something is wrong with him. No honest man will deny that a woman in pants is a temptation to lust upon. I understand that men can lust upon a woman wearing a dress too, but a woman who wears pants makes it much easier for men to lust.

There is absolutely nothing wrong, improper nor questionable about what Pastor Hyles rightly taught his church members. Men are wired different than woman sexually. Brad even argued with me on this blatant truth, insisting that I show him where the Bible says men and women are wired differently. What a fool! God is our only Judge. Shame on Pastor Brad for speaking evil of Dr. Jack Hyles. Men are aroused by sight, which is why women must conceal instead of reveal their body. I firmly believe that it is a sin for any woman to wear immodest attire in public, especially hip-hugging pants. Although there is much controversy over what the words “modest apparel” means in 1st Timothy 2:9 in the Word of God, we humbly think that any honest Christian will agree that pants on women is not modest at all. I will go to seed in this matter of preaching biblically against women wearing pants in public!

There is no door to door soulwinning at Family Baptist Church in Pensacola! In my humble opinion as a Baptist evangelist, they don't care enough at Family Baptist Church about reaching lost sinners for Christ. God's method according to Acts 20:20 (a Christian believer's 20/20 vision) is door to door soulwinning; not having a few big days each year in the church parking lot and hoping that some of the attendees might visit the church service sometime. No wonder Family Baptist Church is 90% empty on many Sundays! I speak this to their utter shame.

We need a revival of old fashioned modesty in the United States! I am tired of pastor's wives who dress worldly. A pastor's wife sets the example for the other women in the church, especially the younger women and girls. For a pastor's wife to wear pants in public is a disgrace! It matters how a woman dresses! God cares about everything that we say and do. 1st Corinthians 10:31, “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”

People are just like sheep (Isaiah 53:6). By nature we all need someone to look up to and follow. We all have our heroes and mentors! Mine is Pastor Jack Hyles, and when Brad Moffett unjustly criticized Dr. Hyles we lost much respect for him. What if I said some terrible untrue things about John Thompson (Brad's former Bible professor in South Carolina whom he admires)? Brad wouldn't take kindly to such slander. So, why am I expected to tolerate his evil speaking of Dr. Jack Hyles? When Pastor Brad falsely slandered Pastor Jack Hyles, they picked a fight with this preacher! I know that God is on my side because I am TELLING THE TRUTH!

God is no respecter of persons! New evangelical social clubs like Family Baptist Church are destroying America! In my humble opinion, Pastor Bobby Moffett is an arrogant stiff-necked person. God will have to humble him. Bobby Moffett is rude, running his mouth to hurt people's feelings, showing no regard for others. This is not the way that a preacher is supposed to behave! It matters how we treat people!!! Bobby has hurt my feelings on numerous occasions with his rude and harsh comments.

If they continue to mistreat people, they won't have anybody left! Kindly said, Pastor Brad and his father need to repent of their false repentance. Anyone who tells you that they got saved because they turned away from their sinning is still not saved. You don't have to “Repent of your sins” to be saved. Acts 10:43, “To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.” Do you see the big difference? The inspired Holy Bible says to believe on the name of Jesus to have your sins forgiven; new evangelicals tell you to repent of your sins to be saved, which is wrong.

In our humble opinion, there is a shallow sense of “love” at Family Baptist Church. I have personally seen that there is a lack of compassion, love and forgiveness at Family Baptist Church. I have always stayed quite, out of respect for the pastor's father. But that is all over now and I am free to speak up, since they have kicked me and my wife out of their church. As Rambo says, “They drew first blood.” When you kick somebody out of a church, they tend to get deeply hurt and offended. The leadership of their church doesn't seem to understand this. Why wouldn't we be upset?

What saith the Scripture? Ephesians 5:11, “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” Pastors teaching the Devil's lie that you must “Repent of your sins” to get to Heaven is a work of darkness! Pastor bidding Godspeed to false prophets like Ken Ham and Franklin Graham is a work of darkness! These evils must be exposed!!! SHAME on the Family Baptist Church. They are tiny and I pray to God that they stay tiny, and better yet, go out of business permanently. You may accuse me of having a hateful spirit, and you would be right, but only in the sense that I hate the counterfeit plan of salvation which is being taught. Right doctrine matters!

When I met with Pastor Brad on April 30th, 2025, in his church office, that knucklehead told me that he doesn't think the King James Bible is perfect nor inspired. He foolishly said he is okay with some of the modern versions of the Bible. He specifically mentioned his approval of the Modern English Version (MEV). Take a look at how corrupt the MEV is! The MEV is of the Devil. SHAME on Pastor Brad for bidding Godspeed to such evil. My heart goes out to the naive people at Family Baptist Church, who blindly trust their pastors. God won't be mocked (Galatians 6:7). What they are teaching at Family Baptist Church is the same error which the churches of Galatia were guilty of, adding works to grace (Galatians 3:1-2). Repenting of one's sins according to Jonah 3:10 is a work.

I recently saw them (the core members of the cult) all sitting at the El Paso Mexican restaurant on Mother's Day. I took my wife there, not realizing that the members of Family Baptist Church had also planned to go there, one block from the church. Of course, no one even thought of inviting me and my wife, because we are not members of their closed social cult. Pharisaical hypocrites!

For the past 45 months that I have visited their Family Baptist Church (because it's next to impossible nowadays to find a doctrinally sound church anymore), I was loving, kind and friendly toward everyone, but they distanced themselves from me because I am a fundamentalist Bible preacher, and they all know it.

I could NEVER officially join any church that is WRONG on the free grace Gospel. 2nd John 1:11, “For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.” Nowhere does the inspired King James Bible tell anyone to “repent of your sins” to be saved. In the Gospel of John, which is God's Gospel tract according to John 20:31, we find the word “believe” mentioned 85 times, but the word “repent” is not mentioned even once. That is because repentance is automatic. That is, the man who believes the GOOD NEWS of Christ crucified, buried and risen the third day has repented. He has changed his mind from unbelief to belief to be saved.

Titus 1:13-14, “This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.” I will REBUKE THEM SHARPLY for Christ's sake. Pastors' Brad and Bobby Moffett are accursed according to Galatians 1:6-9 for perverting the Gospel with their manmade doctrine of devils. Pastor Curtis Hutson is right, they must repent of their wrong repentance to be saved. To God alone be the glory! I am tired of fighting new evangelical pastors, but I will go to my grave with the Sword of the Lord (i.e., the inspired King James Bible) in hand before I succumb to their evil ways.

When pastors are monitoring what people say on social media and then kicking them out of church because they don't like what they read—comments which don't even mention their names—they have gone too far, playing God with people's lives. This is America where we have a God-given and U.S. Constitutional First Amendment right to express our heartfelt views. I do not recommend this horrible place to anyone. We were mistreated at Family Baptist Church, for which God will need to make things right. At this point, understandably, we don't trust the leadership of their church anymore.
